PEAK Southern California

Los Angeles, Orange and Inland Counties

PEAK Southern California is a partnership between Southern California Edison, Southern California Gas Company, and eight school districts in southern California. Approximately 12,000 upper elementary and middle school students, primarily fourth graders, participate each year in PEAK Southern California. The program started in 1998 as part of the Regional Energy Efficiency Initiative in schools in Irvine in Santa Monica and has spread across southern California. As a result of PEAK’s implementation through the Community Energy Partnership, communities surrounding PEAK schools benefit from unique outreach activities focused on energy efficiency education.
