Community Energy Partnership: Residential

The Community Energy Partnership provides several initiatives engaging and benefiting residents of partner cities.

Energy Education & Outreach

Through participation in various community events, CEP staff reach out to individuals and families, educating about energy creation, its environmental impacts and how we can reduce usage. The CEP participates in or hosts local community events like festivals, concerts in the park, senior events, beach clean-ups, and other gatherings. We provide information on utility programs, energy–saving behaviors, and purchasing choices to help consumers to reduce their energy use, save money on their utility bills, and help the environment.

The CEP also hosts Efficiency First! presentations and workshops, short energy education seminars that provide opportunities for residents to learn about saving energy in their homes and businesses.

Smart Energy Management Education – Participants receive educational tools to help them manage their energy use wisely with the direct help of contractors who identify additional saving opportunities and direct residents to other utility programs.
